I am an Oklahoma-based photographer of landscapes. I have been a photographer since my high school days from 1969 to 1971, when I took photos for my high school yearbook with an old twin-lens reflex camera and a Mamiya-Sekor 35mm camera. I soon moved on to a Nikon FM and am now shooting with a Nikon D600 DSLR.

My photographs represent my thirst for scenic views, particularly of places in Utah and Arizona in the desert southwest, locations in Oklahoma, and other places that are off of the beaten track. I enjoy hiking and mountain biking and have found that getting there is at least half of the fun! I just returned from another trip to Utah, and I am excited to have more photos of slot canyons, rock formations, The Vermilion Cliffs area, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Capital Reef National Park, and more of the amazing scenery of that area....now available in the "Escalante 2014" Gallery. Enjoy!
